The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Green Camouflage Paint Graphic Design Relief is present and detailed. Helmet remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Foliage Net appears complete- does display visible age-related wear.

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1970s SADF Steel Helmet  w/ Green Foliage Netting. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Camouflage Netting on  obverse. All parts appear present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Webbing chin-strap and plastic liner evident.  Note : Net will display signs of age-related wear and is slightly loose.

This piece would have been utilised by members of the SADF in the Operational Area of SWA/ Angola.
