An EXCELLENT example of a Border War Era, 1978    Nutria Brown Groundsheet with Spring Clips and Fasteners- as issued to South African Police members & South African Defence Force personnel. This item would have been used on the Border in South-West Africa / Angola as a general purpose Groundsheet and Personal Shelter Half ; whilst performing Counter-Insurgency Duties. Please Note : This item has been subject to Field Use , and has Two Small Burn Holes in the Nylon Material. A Single Press Stud has also expired from general handling. All  6 x Hand Straps remain intact and appear to be secure.
