This item remains in a GOOD, USED CONDITION- Helmet appears to be  complete. Age-related wear is visible due to Battle damage /  handling. Surface marks present on paintwork. **ITEMS ARE SECOND-HAND.**

An EXCELLENT example  of a 1980s Border War, Bulgarian M72 Steel Helmet Battlefield pick-up item.  This piece appears to be in a well-preserved state ;  clearly displaying associated marks of shrapnel battle damage. This is evident in the form of impact indentation & a puncture to the left rear flange. The pigskin leather liner remains intact with securing cord. Leather two-point chin strap and Buckle appear to be in good order and function when engaged. 

An item such as this would have been supplied as Military Aid to members of the Peoples' Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN/SWAPO),  during guerrilla incursions into SWA from Angolan territory.

The ideal addition to any 1980s Border War Era , Guerrilla Movement Militaria collection or display.
