The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Camouflage Graphic Design Relief is present and ddetailed. Field pack remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. All straps, buckles and D-rings are present. No holes.

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s East German 'Rain Drop' Pattern Large Field pack w/ Straps.This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Camouflage 'Strichtarn' relief on obverse. All Straps and buckles function and are present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Nationale Volksarmee Stamp is evident- yet faint from exposure / age.
This piece was obtained as a 'Field pick-up' by a former SADF National Serviceman during the late 1980s in SWA/ Angola. The East German equipment was often supplied to PLAN insurgents by sympathetic regimes.
The ideal addition to any SADF/ SWATF Border War Era kit collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
