These items remain in good order and consist of  a Single Pair of 2nd Lieutenant's Rubberized Slip-On Rank Epaulettes & a Double Pair of 1st Lieutenant's Rubberized Slip-On Rank Epaulettes. Included is the original issue Step-Out Uniform Attire Neck-Tie for formal occasions. The South African Medical Service was established in July 1979 , and provided Medical Support to all Branches of the South African Defence Force during the latter half of the Border War in SWA / Angola.
