An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s South African Railway Police, Regional Task Force Pistol Holster. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with all retention straps and functional press-studs. All parts present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. 

This piece would have been utilised by members of the SA Railway Police Special Task Force, with the 9mm Browning Hi-Power Pistol. The Regional Task Force units were trained in Counter-Terrorism and Urban Warfare techniques by the National Unit - as a rapid response component.
