The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Helmet is complete with liner and chin-strap.  Nutria Camouflage paint remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Item has been subject to usage in Combat Conditions. Manufacturer markings evident. ** Note : Male portion of Chinstrap clip fitting has expired due to age.**

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SADF M87 Nutria Ballistic Helmet. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with Nutria Camouflage paint intact. All liner system and chin strap present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Note : Chin-strap leather cup displays age-related wear and male portion of clip retention has expired.

This piece would have been utilised by SADF personnel in the Operational Area of SWA/ Angola- and therefore would have been subject to combat conditions.
