An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SADF Patt.73 Webbing Pistol 9mm Holster.This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with press Studs evident. Modifications present- as Ammunition Pouch has been removed for operational purposes. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. 

Thus piece would have been utilised by SADF/SWATF  personnel in the Operational Area of SWA/ Angola. Items were often modified to suit conditions/ practical applications.
