An EXCELLENT example of a Late 1970s - 1980s , Border War Era Pattern 73 Green Webbing Holster as used by personnel of the South African Police & Koeveoet members in South-West Africa. This piece has been subject to longterm usage- having areas of external wear - as well as - internal Pistol wear staining from the cocking hammer. This variety of Holster differs slightly from the SADF standard pattern - in having a slightly wider profile , as well as, the distinctive Bright Green Grommets throughout (denoting Police issue). Pistol retention Flap has been clearly marked with the Monogram : "S.A.P" for identification and issue purposes.
