This G-250 is in good condition, exactly the same as in the picture below. It is a pleasure to play and will provide you with years of quality sound.
The guitar has superb MightyMite pickups (S-S-H) and a Wilkinson Platinum tremolo bridge. It has 22 frets mounted onto a Rosewood fretboard. The neck is constructed from Hard Rock Maple and the body from Basswood.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or amateur guitarist, this guitar is sure to impress you and WOW audiences.
The only reason that I am selling my guitar, is because I am upgrading my studio yet again and need the money.
I bought this guitar in the UK 3 years ago. I really need to sell this so I'm starting the bidding at R1500.00 no reserve.
You will not regret owning this guitar! Also, please check out the other items on my profile that I am selling at the moment. There is a Behringer mixer and a Behringer 212 V-Tone amp.
THIS IS A CORT!!!!!!!!!!
The following is an excerpt from a review of the guitar from regentguitars.co.uk:
This guitar is in a league of its own. Until July 2001, the Yamaha Pacifica had been a long standing contender for the best £200 guitar that we sell. However, I will now take you through the reasons why this guitar is still head and shoulders above the other guitars around - 2 years after its launch. |
It is rare to find a guitar at this price point which has a neck that is finished to the standard of this guitar. The neck is lacquered and finshed beautifully to create a lovely satin (not quite gloss) finish with that classic "aged" appearance. The machine heads are top quality (of the "small button" variety). |
A roller nut on a guitar at £229 - You bet! Okay, we were as surprised as you are but that is why I am writing this page to tell you about it! Since taking this shot, Cort have made further improvements on the roller nut system that offer even greater tuning stability! The roller nut is something that you would normally expect to see on £800 strats and I certainly have never seen one on a guitar at £229. |
Attention to detail doesn't stop there as the string guides (which apply the proper downward pressure necessary after the string goes over the nut) have a revolving barrel mechanism that prevents any friction between string and the guide. What does all this techno babble mean for you - Greatly improved tuning stability! | ![]() |
![]() | And then there are the "Mighty Mite" pickups and oh yes, I nearly forgot - A genuine Wilkinson Trem! Previously to this, the cheapest guitar I knew with a Wilkinson trem was the £500+ Yamaha Pacifica 512. Did I mention a genuine push/pull coil tap?- again, usally only found on guitars costing at least twice the price! |
And what does it "feel" like? One word says it all - Class. | ![]() |
Oh, and for those of you who are wondering what it looks like in full! The bottom line is that this is a pro guitar - no question. Not just a great upgrade from your first instrument but a real, proper pro piece of kit. Got the message? |
