From Johannesburg

* Follow the N3 from Johannesburg until you reach Harrismith. Turn off at Harrismith and follow through along the R74

* This will take you past the Sterkfontein Dam and down the Oliviershoek Pass. Continue straight along the R74 past Bergville until you reach Winterton.

* As you reach Winterton you turn right along the R600 Central Berg

* Continue straight from Winterton for 27km until you reach the sign indicating the Drakensberg Sun.

From Durban

* Take N3 North to Estcourt. Take Estcourt North/Giants Castle off-ramp. Turn left towards Loskop.

* Continue straight past Loskop until you reach a large intersection.

* Turn left onto the R600 Central Berg. Follow straight until you see the turn-off for the Drakensberg Sun.
