This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Unit Badge Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Felt Material is complete- all intact. Nylon lining is present and retains Manufacturer label with date. 

This piece would have been utilised by members of 1 Parachute Battalion, upon completion of the  SADF Basic Parachute Course and assignment to the Unit  during the early 1990s.
