An EXCELLENT example of an Early 20th Century, Chinese Lu xing Qingtian Stone Figurine Deity. This piece remains in a well-preserved state, displaying minor areas of surface wear. The Deity known as Lu xing - is associated with the constellation Ursa Major , considered to be a personification of the sacred stars. This figure became popularized as a Sanxing during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and is associated with the provision of Prosperity, Wealth, Influence & Social Advancement/ Respect.

The Figurine, appears in a seated pose adorned in Mandarin Robes,  and remains encased in a Ornate facade with an intricate lintel on a raised pedestal. 

An ideal addition to any 20th Century, Chinese or Oriental Carved Stone Figurine collection or display.
