This piece remains in a GOOD, USED CONDITION-  PLEASE NOTE : ONE BRASS HINGE IS MISSING. Rose Wood Lid and  Box Structure remain in Good Order. Brass Fittings appear to be securely affixed, however, age related wear is visible. Silk Lining of Box Interior remains intact and pattern is complete.

A STUNNING Example of an Early 20th Century, Chinese Rose Wood Jewellery Box with a Floral White Jade Medallion Lid inlay. The Varnished Wooden Panelled Box , has been accented throughout with hand-engraved and assembled Brass decorative appliques. An emphasis on a  Floral design element , has been enhanced with the presence of a White or " Ice " Jade semi-translucent Blossom Medallion Inlay placed within the Jewellery Box Lid. The Silk Lining remains complete within the Box Interior, rendered in a woven Red and Gold  Brocade pattern. 

PLEASE NOTE : The item displays age-related surface wear and retains ONLY ONE REAR HINGE ; the other having expired at some point in time.
