This piece remains in a GOOD, USED CONDITION- Graphic Design Relief is clear and detailed for both obverse and reverse. Silver Case retains a smooth , polished finish and produces a wonderful surface lustre. Obverse is inscribed and lower end of hinge displays slight wear. Case closes and secures well when engaged.

An EXQUISITE Example of an Early 20th Century- Chinese .900 Silver Export Gentleman's Cigarette Case. This piece has been rendered in the classic European style - featuring an intricate Chinese Dragon (Long) embellished motif straddling tumuli  on the obverse facing. A central cartouche displays an inscription addressed to the original recipient, whilst the reverse facing depicts a detailed form of a Plum Foliate in full bloom. The Cigarette Case remains functional, however, it is recommended that the item be considered as a DISPLAY PIECE ONLY .
