"Flame in the Snow" Numbered limited edition!! Andre Brink. Special limited edition of the landmark publication Flame in the Snow: The Love Letters of Andre Brink & Ingrid Jonker. Only 1000 numbered copies of this collector's item were published. This is number 202 and is still wrapped in plastic.
This edition is presented in a slipcase with specially commissioned cover artwork by Hanneke Benade. The book includes previous unseen photographs from Andre Brink's private collection, with an extra photo section that does not appear in the standard edition (including unknown, personal photographs of Jonker). It includes a replica of a letter from Ingrid Jonker in an envelope as an insert.
The letters provide new insights into the minds, writing and love affair of two of South Africa's most famous writers.
