Born in 1966 Mark Perrins was initially influenced by his father Eugene, an artist who utilized different mediums though predominantly oil on
canvas.
At the tender age of four he began making what he felt where "improvements" to his fathers paintings. He studied art at Beachwood then began a
career that spanned twenty five years with the South African Police.
At age fourty he began painting under the Master artist Malachi Smith whose mentorship can still be seen in his style of painting today.
