Plastic Material - The Book Cover is a portfolio style case that has a hard plastic tablet holder that holds the tablet in place and a durable nylon cover that has hard insert and soft lining. Both the tablet holder and the front cover have a soft foam-like lining that won't scratch your tablet.

Portfolio Style - The case also functions as a tablet stand in one position and leaves all ports on the tablet open.  The case has perfect cutouts for the audio jack and rear camera and flash, so you can use all of them while the tablet is sitting in the case. The closure lip on the front cover acts like a stand. Fold the front cover back and insert the closure lip into the stand slot to prop up your tablet. The stand only supports one viewing angle, which is good for browsing on the tablet or using an external keyboard while tilting the tablet for a better viewing angle.

Well Protection - The Book Cover is well built, protects the entire Tab 10.1 and is incredibly slim.  The tablet holder tightly holds the 10.1 tablet by it's four corners and leaves the stereo speakers, charging/syncing port and side buttons on on the tablet wide open for easy access. The cover protects the tablet screen and it wraps around with a wide lip and closes the case on the back with a magnet closure.
