The Gamo Hunter 440 is a break barrel single shot rifle,
with an adjustable two-stage
trigger and selected Beech hardwood stock with raised Monte Carlo-type cheekpiece.
The pistol grip has fine laser checkering and the butt has a rubber recoil pad and the lines of the
stock/butt-pad are broken by a white cheat-line. Very attractive and stylish, even today.

The Gamo Hunter 440 air rifle comes standard with a scope mounting rail and a Gamo shock
absorber-unit to prevent scope slippage, which may otherwise occur under recoil.
The Hunter 440 air-rifle comes fitted with the unique Gamo "Tru-Glo" adjustable
sights which help to give this 1000ft/s (305m/s) air-rifle a serious edge.
