Emerald is a rare gemstone belonging to the precious gemstones family Beryl. They are May's birthstone. The best quality emeralds are usually found in Columbia. The emerald ranks next in commercial value to the ruby, and fine examples can cost more than the highest quality colorless diamonds. It is highly sought after as a jewelry gem as well as as a collector's gem.

All items are measured with a Mitutoyo vernier, and weighed with a Tanita carat scale
