It's Storytime!

Down, at the bottom of my beautiful Karoo garden, where the almond, apple and apricot trees blossom, there's a buzz happening. The honey bees are hard at work pollinating the flowers.

What a beautiful sight to bee-hold!

These creatures are the real magic-weavers, doing their part in the garden to create a whimsical world of outstanding colour and a cornucopia of delicious taste (Mm...honey!).

Be still and listen. Can you hear them?

 Feel the whirring of the wings as they beat 200 times a second and as they buzz about at 25km an hour. What a welcome sound!

 These little art studies are my way of capturing the magic and, with love and reverence to nature, releasing them to the world, so that everyone can experience a little slice of heaven on their wall.
