This notebook was worth R30K a yr ago. Unfortunately I've been assigned a company notebook and don't get to use the X60 as much anymore. My loss is your gain. Being an IBM/Lenovo product you can rest assured that you're getting the best made product in the IT world.
The notebook is really small and has a 12" LCD screen, it is very light, so light that you can hold it in one hand and type with the other. On closer inspection the quality is clearly visible in the attention to detail and functionality in the design.
The notebook comes with an extended battery for additional battery power. If needed you may purchase the std version which will then also make the notebook lighter, and reduce it's footprint somewhat.
I'm selling the notebook with the Ultrabase which is basically a docking station/port replicator, I had chosen a DVD writer for the Ultrabase which you will receive as well. The Ultrabase with DVD writer should retail for around R4K. You will also get the battery charger and Office 2007 Ent installed.
There are no recovery discs (as with many new notebooks). There is however a recovery partition should you wish to recover the machine to it's factory setup.
The hardware and software features on the notebook are almost never ending like, automatic backup of your data, safety features like powering off the hard drive if it's accidentally dropped or bumped to prevent hard drive crash and data corruption. The list goes on. This notebook promises not to disappoint. In many notebook reviews this notebook is overall winner in the 12" class.
Lastly, the notebook is clean, has no scratches or damage and is in 100% working order. Should you require more photos then please do not hesitate to ask.
