Monopoly is a board game that was created in the USA to demonstrate an economy which rewards wealth creation is superior to one in which monopolists work under limited constraints, and to promote the economic theories of Henry George (in particular his ideas about taxation). The game is named after the economic concept of "monopoly", i.e. the domination of a market by a single entity. It was first marketed by Parker Brothers, but is now owned and produced by the American game and toy company Hasbro. Players move around the board buying, trading, or selling properties; developing them with houses and hotels, collecting rent from their opponents - the goal being to drive them all into bankruptcy. The winner is the one monopolist in control of the economy. Monopoly is a world known game, that has editions of different countries and popular culture.

Please note that box is a bit damaged, but otherwise the game is in great condition.
