The auction includes: 1x OKI C3200 Colour Laser Printer, Driver and User Manual CD's
(no USB cable or power cable - uses a standard PC power cable)
My reason for selling is that it was more cost-effective for me to buy a new printer than have this one fixed. It's had minimal use
in a home environment. It still has it's original toner cartridges from new, which are at 86-89% level. The belt and fuser life is
still at 95%+. The print-count is very low at 388 colour and 373 mono pages. The Status Page is scan is here.
I understand that the controller board is not working and needs replacing. The printer switches on and there are no issues with
the toner, drums, fuser unit or transfer belt. When plugged into a PC or laptop it doesn't get recognised and is reported as "unknown
device". This is apparently due to the controller board problem. Otherwise, this unit is in mint condition. A printer cover was always
used. From experience a controller board could cost between R500 and R2,500. Maybe the lucky buyer has one lying around!
Approximate value is unknown. I bought this unit new for R3800 on 19/09/2005.
