"LaserPod" laser table lamp / projector

The LaserPod was designed by renowned British artist Chris Levine and built by Plugg Lighting to be a modern-day successor to the "lava lamp", only much, much better.
It uses a semiconductor laser and other light sources beamed into a multi-faceted rotating Swarovski crystal prism to create fantastic light beam patterns.
The light patterns can be beamed up directly onto the walls and ceiling of a room, or projected onto the inside of an electro-plated semi-reflective dome on the lamp.

Main features and benefits

• User the LaserPod in any one of 10 different ways to create an array of different moving light patterns.
• Use the 'Pod open (no refractor plate or dome) to create a "Starfield" type effect on the walls and ceiling of a room, with moving red points in a sea of cool blue light (see pics).
• Use the 'Pod with either the short of tall dome to create fantastic blue and red moving light patterns on the inside of the dome - rather like a "plasma ball".
• Use the 'Pod with either of the domes and the included refractor disc to create a modern-day "lava lamp" effect.
• The switch on the lamp base toggles between red-only and red/violet light modes
• The 'Pod can be powered from the included AC adapter, or with 3 x 1.5V penlight (AA) batteries.
• The 'Pod is very solidly engineered and built, housed in a smart, compact stainless steel cylindrical enclosure.

• Total height with the tall dome is 27cm.
• Weight with the tall dome and refractor plate is 662g (excluding power adapter).
• Uses only 2.25W of power when running (supplied from included 4.5V/0.5A power adapter).
