The White Jade representation of the Buddha in the Seated pose and cradling a small sphere/ Votive container - is known as the ' Yakushi Nyorai ' or The Buddha of Healing & Medicine. This religious form originates from the original Sanskrit term : " Bhaişajyaguru " which translates as the Teacher who cures the suffering ( Samsara / Dukkha ) with the doctrine of enlightenment.
