A little bit about myself:
I have worked as an artist for over 15 years, mostly during this time period as a scenic artist focussing on paint techniques and finishes and murals and had the privilege to work with other artists on some amazing jobs; doing the ageing techniques of the wall, shutters and flowerboxes of the Monte casino Teatro in Fourways Johannesburg , painting stone faces and rockpainting on The Atlantis project and ageing of walls and ceilings on the Ziggurat, Palm Jumeirah Dubai, painting rocks at the Al Badia Golf course in Dubai, doing colourwash techniques, marble, granite and slate finishes finishes on the IBN Batutta Mall Dubai, painting rocks once again, at the Sharjah National History Museum and doing mock ups for Universal Studios and lots of other projects including many private homes mostly in Dubai and South Africa also done some artist impressions and illustrations for children books in England. My paintings has been sold in the UK, Europe, Australia and America.
I believe beauty is all around us and I find my inspiration in the smallest of things from nature to people to words. I have a love for vintage, retro and advertising art and it has influenced my style especially over the last 3 yrs period. My love for literature, words, poetry and philosophy combined with my scenic art background will be found on most of my work.I work with all mediums but acrylics are my favourite and I paint literally on anything from the biggest walls to the smallest piece of wood. Art is an expression of my feelings and my voice to the world captured at a moment in time.
