An EXCELLENT example of a Modern  Nepalese Army Military Issue Standard Kukri with Scabbard and accessory Bladelets. This practical and functional piece, features a hardened Steel Blade that has been sharpened and polished to a smooth surface finish. The Water Buffalo Leather Scabbard features an integral suspension Frog for belt attachment. A polished Horn handle features the decorative Brass Pommel or Chapri  ornamentation.  Included are the two characteristic Bladelets that usually accompany the Kukri (Khukuri) known as the "Chaknak" for sharpening the primary weapon ; and the "Karda"  for skinning & fire starting.

Every serving member of the Nepali Army / Gorkhali Army has been supplied with a National issue Kukri- for Ceremonial induction as a ' Sipahi ' or Recruit.
