All “Crafted in Japan” Marcus Miller basses that we usually come by, have the body made of 3-piece Ash. This one however, has the extremely rare 2-piece Ash body – these models were only made in the early series (2002/2003) of Marcus Miller production, specifically for export to USA. Needles to say - it has the Fender Quality Inspection tag that confirms this – "Made for Export" and “Export to USA” (see the photo).

It is beautifully crafted, wood grain is matched to perfection which is impossible to find on the 3-piece bodies, and this one is even slightly lighter than the usual Marcus which is as heavy as an anvil, meaning that a higher quality Light Ash was used for this body!

It has a miniature dent earned during the shipping. Dent is in the clear coat (only) on the back-side. You can (almost) see it on the photo - it is so small and superficial that it's really invisible unless you specifically look for it.

There is nothing else that differentiates it from new – zero play, zero wear. It comes just like it came from the factory; with original Fender gig-bag, Nickel-wound Fender strings (but I’ll also add a set of hand ground and polished stainless steels!), standard Fender pamphlets.

Price is the unreal R.12000 !!! which is cheaper even than dirt, considering that this is one of the hottest selling Fender basses of all times and that the local shop price (if there was any stock ever) is R.17995. This is an absolute bargain.
