The Motorola T9500XLR two way radio is Motorola's most powerful consumer two way radio yet. The T9500XLR has a slightly longer antenna than previous Talkabout models, giving it a potential 40 km maximum range in optimal conditions (typically 3.2km's in urban conditions).

In addition to providing great range as a two way radio the Motorola T9500XLR is also a weather radio, supporting 10 NOAA weather channels. With the iVOX hands free feature the T9500-XLR acts as a speaker phone, allowing you to use your hands for other activities. Hands free (VOX) mode on this model works with or without an optional headset. The T-9500XLR also supports Motorola's VibraCall vibrating alert. With VibraCall, you can lower your radio volume and still ensure that you never miss a transmission.

The Motorola T9500XLR radios support all 22 FRS and GMRS channels with an amazing 121 interference eliminator (privacy) codes per channel. This model also offers a channel scan feature, your choice of 10 call tone alerts, and a backlit display.
