This piece remains in a GOOD, USED CONDITION- Graphic Design Relief is clear and detailed. Surface wear is apparent to Bronze finish. Lugs are intact and item appears to be in good order.

An EXCELLENT Example of an ORIGINAL, Second World War '(1939-45) South African Air Force Full Size Cap Badge. This item represents a Late War rendition, in which necessary Metals such as Brass were required for the War Effort. Pewter was considered a suitable substitute during latter austerity measures & was utilised to produce Armed Forces Insignia. The Bronze surface finish remains partially intact & both Lugs are present.
