This item represents a Late War rendition, in which necessary Metals such as Brass were required for the War Effort. Pewter was considered a suitable substitute during latter austerity measures & was utilised to produce Armed Forces Insignia. The Bronze surface finish remains partially intact & both Lugs are present.
