The book has no internal inscriptions.  The pages are browning, in particular the flyleaves front and back and the internal board covers. The browning is conspicuous where it corresponds with the internal flaps of the DJ.  Binding still very good

Dj in general still bright and is unclipped. It has been bumped and rubbed along the edges and corners and the spine, top and bottom. There is a minor tear at the top of the spine (1 mm) and there is a large closed tear at the bottom of the front  near the spine (2cm), just visible in the photo. This tear has caused folding at the bottom of the jacket.  The back part of the Dj has a b&w photo of Gardner and this does show up some rubbing and there is a small stain approx 8mm in diameter.
