An EXCELLENT pairing of an early 1990s Fielddress Camouflage, South African Police (S.A.P) Sergeant Brassard & ABS-ISD 2 Chest Flash [All Pins Intact].  The Internal Stability Division/ Afdeling Binneland Stabiliteit - was formed in late 1991 in order to combat political violence and national unrest.

These items would have been worn as part of the ABS-ISD Camouflage attire from 1991 - 1994 ; afterwhich the uniform and Insignia was recalled.

The ideal addition to any pre-1994 South African Police / Militaria Rank and Insignia collection or display.
