A Pack of Twenty Five ( x25 ) 2.5" x 2.5" Mylar Coin Holders with a Window Diameter of 43mm. This size is suitable for large coins (e.g. Crowns, 5 Shillings, Trade Dollars, etc).

This is a quality product from COLLECTOR SAFE^©, a company that provides coin storage solutions for the US market. The frame of the holder is a rectangle of stiff cardboard with two circular holes sized for the coin. Sealed to the back surface is a thin sheet of transparent Mylar plastic. The protected coin is sandwiched between the two halves of the holder when they are closed over it, like the covers of a book. The close can be temporary with staples, or permanent with contact adhesive. The closed holder is a square with sides 2.5 inches or 63mm.

COLLECTOR SAFE^© Mylar sheets are guaranteed to be free of corrosive chemicals such as chlorine. Ordinary soft plastic, like PVC, will damage your coins over time. Copper coins become coated with an oily green film. Silver coins turn milky white. Once this happens, there is no way to reverse the damage.
