Aphrodisiaque by Agent Provocateur 

The bottles are inspired by the curves of a woman. They are both shaped exactly the same; rounded and with an empty oval space in the middle. Aphrodisiaque is gold with black accents and champagne and delicate pinks make up Pure Aphrodisiaque. The front and back of the bottles are metallic while the complementary sides are matte and have a soft feel.

I must also mention the boxes. They have a small cut-out and a soft, velvety feel. I always store my perfumes in their boxes so when they have a little detail I am always thrilled.

Aphrodisiaque opens with juicy blackberries and sharp white pepper; tempered with a hint of sheer Jasmine. Vanilla Orchid dominates the heart and is wrapped in black honey. The fragrance dries down into a blend of sensual and creamy musks and resin. The mixture is bold, hypnotic and commanding but still holds a hint of subtle and delectable honeyed sweetness.

Pure Aphrodisiaque is a lot more syrupy but still holds on to a lot of sensuality. It is certainly sweeter and more playful. Pure Aphrodisiaque begins with juicy Anjou pears and mandarin; mingled with Rum. The heart harmoniously brings together elegant Jasmine Petals, Wild Orchid and luxurious Indian Sambac. At the base, the fragrance dries down into a warm blend of Amber Crème, musk and dark woods.
