Shirli Geere (SA) - Original Watercolour on Rice Paper - Investment Art!

This outstanding work of art by South African artist Shirli Geere is beautiful, the photos just do not do it justice! Shirli Geere is a listed artist and her works sell for R2000+, see the following link: http://www.southafricanartists.com/showartist.asp?Code=GEERE001

Shirli was taught Sumie – Japanese brushwork Art more than 20 years ago. She paints on rice paper and other hand made paper, board and canvas. She has involved the heaven man earth symbols in composition in her work and has skillfully utilized this ancient art form with a modern decorative approach.  Her work was sold locally in Southern Africa and offshore.  She was regularly commissioned to do work outside of her usual exhibitions over the years.

This lovely work is double mounted and framed in a metal frame behind glass. It measures 30x25cm (with frame) and 22x17cm (painting only). Good condition.

Art has consistently proved to be one of the best Investments, do not get left behind!!!
