An EXCELLENT example of Pre-World War I , Austro-Hungarian M1886/88 Officer's Bayonet w/ Scabbard & Leather Frog. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with Blade and grip-scales intact. Leather retention frog is present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Mortise functions when engaged- Blade still remains sharp , handle with caution. ** NOTE : TRODDLE RETENTION BALE ON POMMEL HAS EXPIRED / NO LONGER PRESENT. ** Steel Scabbard remains most of original paint finish.
