An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1913 South AfricanPolice 'Z-Type' Large Brass Helmet Plate. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Makers marks present on reverse. All Lugs Intact. This variation was issued from 1913-1925 , appearing in English and Dutch . Later iterations were produced featuring Afrikaans.
