An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1920s Norwich Players Dramatic Society Silver Medallion. This piece appears to be in a well-preserved state. Assay / Hallmarks are not present, however, Medallion is composed of Silver. The Norwich Players Society was initiated by Nugent Monck , the founder of the Maddermarket Theatre & famous English Play Director. Productions such as , ' Pericles ' & ' Prince of Tyre ' were directed by Monck in 1947 - as well as , ' King Lear ' in London (1953).
