These pieces are in an GOOD, USED CONDITION - Steel Chain-Link Saw remains in a Good State, and retains a cutting edge. Leather storage Pouch has been subject to wear on the Left-handside. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Manufacturer markings evident.  **Note : One Wooden Dowel Handle is NO LONGER PRESENT ! **

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1942/43 Union Defence Force, Chain-link Folding Saw with Tools & Pouch. This piece appears to be in a GOOD state of preservation , age-related wear is visible on Left-hand side of leather Pouch. Steel Chain-Link Saw articulates well and remains quite sharp (handle with care! ).  Manufacturer markings present. One Dowel handle & maintenance tool kit are present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface.

A piece such as this, would have been supplied by the United States of America & Canada- as part of the Allied Lend-Lease equipment program.
