A RARE & Great Assortment of Original 1956 Black & White Photographs, capturing the Appointment Ceremony of Rhodesia-Nyasaland Prime Minister , Sir Roy Welensky. The Parade occurred at the Federal Assembly in Salisbury , Southern Rhodesia and was attended by Welensky, and the various High Ranking Military Officials of the Federation. Military Parade formation consists of Servicemen from the Southern Rhodesia Volunteers & Mounted British South Africa Police (B.S.A.P). Sir Roy Welensky can be clearly seen in the First Photograph (Centre-Right) wearing a suit and Top Hat.
