A RARE & Great Assortment of Original 1956 Black & White Photographs, capturing the Appointment Ceremony of Rhodesia-Nyasaland Prime Minister , Sir Roy Welensky.  The Parade occurred at the  Federal Assembly in Salisbury , Southern Rhodesia and was attended by Welensky, and the various High Ranking Military Officials of the Federation.  Military Parade formation consists of Servicemen from the Southern Rhodesia Volunteers,  Mounted British South Africa Police (B.S.A.P)  & The Rhodesian African Rifles Brass Marching Band.
