This item remains in a GOOD, USED CONDITION- Age-related wear is visible due to handling. Material is intact and Buttons are present (One Missing On Belt-Loop). Maker's label present on lining.**ITEMS ARE SECOND-HAND.**

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1970 Dated - Rhodesian Contract  SADF Nutria Fielddress Trousers. This piece appears to be in a well-preserved state, with Liner label & material in good order. Trousers will display signs of age-related surface wear due to handling. 

The Manufacturer, James Finlay (Pvt.) Ltd. were located in Salisbury & involved in the production of Cotton based textiles including clothing - such as Uniforms for the Rhodesian Security Forces. It is known that this company produced 1st Pattern Camouflage Uniforms for the South African Police-  however , NO KNOWN EXAMPLES HAVE BEEN SEEN OF A CONTRACT FOR THE SADF.   These Trousers do retain the original cotton label - though faded , the Date - 1970 and Salisbury are clearly legible.  The first portion of James Finlay (Pvt.) Ltd. has been subject to fading.
