1937 Specimen Coins Box Only George VI Coronation Celebration. Red leather, gilt, velvet and plush.

Very good condition. Slight wear to leather on left front.  15 coin places on the velvet, for crown down to farthing, Maundy coins.  Obviously some of the places would fit SA coins as well.

Issued by the Royal Mint to celebrate the coronation of King George VI, this is therefore the first year of issue for these coins.

Box still works well. Catch is solid. Sold without the coins. I have listed some of the coins belonging to this box separately on Bobshop so check them out.

Box is 18 x 12 x 1.5 cm.
