YEAR: 1900 -

TYPE : Inqawe / Men's Tobacco Pipe

DIMENSIONS: 20cm

An EXCELLENT example of a Early 20th Century Xhosa 'Inqawe' Transkei Men's Tobacco Pipe. This piece appears to be in a GOOD, USED state , with Pipe structure intact & minor usage. This traditional Xhosa Tobacco Pipe has been handcrafted from Acacia or Imnyamanzi wood.

The Inqawe used by Men differs in length from those used by Women; which tend to be significantly longer.
