An EXCELLENT example of a  RARE , Italian Army  Modelo 78 'Extrema Ratio' Field Knife w/ Scabbard. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with complete Ceramic coating Relief on  Blade. All manufacturers marks present. Minimal Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Blade is exceptionally sharp- retains a cutting edge. 

The Modelo 78 , was adopted by the Italian Armed forces as a field knife / utility Blade- produced under license from Glock. These items were manufactured by the premier Knifesmiths , Extrema Ratio - retaining a reputation as the highest grade Blade manufacturers in Europe.
