Royal Albert Gladiola Trio

One fantastic Royal Albert Gladiola trio is available to the discerning & most serious of collectors! The Gladiola trio features its design in the very popular range of Imari style in rust and cobalt finished off with a golden trim. The Gladiola pattern was produced by Royal Albert for 8 years between 1927 and 1935. The cup shape is the highly sought after Doris shape (also sometimes referred to as D-handled cup shape).

This trio is in good used condition with no chips, cracks or any other structural damage to any of the pieces. All pieces ring true / ping perfectly clear when tapped lightly with a pencil. There is some wear to the gilding of the trio, with most wear being evident to the tea plate. The cup and saucer’s gilding is in good condition for its age. The individual pieces all have the Royal Albert back stamp reading Royal Albert Crown China England Gladiola.

This trio definitely ticks all the boxes of highly collectible and rare! Royal Albert. Crown China. Imari style. Doris shape. Pings perfectly. Good used condition.
