An EXCELLENT example of a 1992 , South Africa Apartheid Referendum Conservative Party Poster Mounted on Ply-wood/ Board. This period piece has been wrapped in protective plastic sheeting in order to safeguard the integrity of the printed paper. The historic 17 March , 1992 "Whites Only" Referendum was held by the National Party Government - in order to assess approval for the Political Negotiation process with the African National Congress (ANC). Strong Opposition by the Conservative Party led by Andries Treurnicht, resulted in the promotion of a "NO Campaign" against the intended reforms and negotiated political settlement.
The ideal addition to any pre-1994 South African Political Memorabilia collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their private assortment.
