An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, World War I ,  .925 Silver Military Cross Miniature Medal w/ Ribbon. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Surface Toning visible. Ribbon complete- minimal wear present.

The Military Cross award, was instituted on 28 December 1914 - for exemplary gallantry in Combat. The medal was available to Warrant Officer's & Officer's up to the rank of Captain.
